Holland & Barrett has installed branded fixtures in three key WH Smith travel hub stores.
A tailored range of Holland & Barrett vitamins, sunscreen and beauty products will be added to WH Smith Travel stores at Heathrow Terminal 2, Gatwick’s North Terminal, and London Euston railway station, as part of a limited trial.
The retailer would use the three-store pilot to test how it could introduce its products to travel locations in the future, said Lisa Tookey, Holland & Barrett’s commercial growth director.
“We’re always looking for new ways we can make wellness a way of life for even more people, and we’re delighted to be working with WH Smith to bring a selection of our range to travellers,” she said.
Dedicated Holland & Barrett branded spaces will appear in the three stores. The range will include rapid-release ginger root capsules to aid against travel sickness, Holland & Barrett’s own brand 100% mineral sunscreen and items from its new Expert Sleep Range of tablets.
Protein powders, gut health supplements and energy support products will also be stocked.
Holland & Barrett was founded in 1870. With more than 1,000 stores accross the UK and globally, it is Britain’s largest specialist health and wellness retailer. It has been owned by the Russian-founded investment fund LetterOne since 2017.
