Eden Vale is adding Starburst Juicy Mousse to its portfolio of Mars confectionery branded chilled desserts. The mousse comes in strawberry, orange or lemon flavours, with fruity stripes. All three are packaged together (rsp £1.29) with bright colours and graphics designed to echo Starburst confectionery. Confectionery brands are spreading into several other food sectors ­ including cake bars and ice creams ­ as the snacking trend continues. The Starburst brand, which is being backed by a £6m spend this year, joins Galaxy and Milky Way chilled desserts in Eden Vale's range under licence from Mars. Eden Vale values the non chocolate adult treat sector at £204m, with 10% growth. It said the 96% awareness of the Starburst brand would fuel further growth. {{P&P }}
