Nisa has launched a new range of own-branded cake snacks through its Heritage label.
The six new lines includes five-packs of chocolate oaties, caramel shortcakes, flapjack slices and chocolate brownies.
Cartons of 15 mini flapjack bites and double chocolate brownie bites complete the range.
Nisa said it hoped the new products would drive additional impulse sales for picnic treats and “big night occasions”.
“We are delighted to launch these fantastic new additions to our Heritage range,” said Nisa head of fresh, frozen and DTS Kim Brown.
“We hope they will deliver an uplift in sales and basket spend for our members by catering for consumers shopping on impulse or looking for a tasty snacking or sharing treat, whilst delivering a healthy profit margin for our members.
“We continuously look for ways to develop our own label offer further and support our retailers in delivering quality and value to their customers.”
The announcement comes one month after the symbol group unveiled its own-label wine range at its annual trade show in Stoneleigh, Warwickshire.
Heritage wine will be on shelves in June.
