Spar has launched an own brand range of premium cookies to capture growth in the biscuit market.
The all-butter cookie range, containing only premium ingredients, is available in three variants: fruit & oat (rsp: 1.59), triple Belgian chocolate and white Belgian chocolate (both rsp: £1.75).
“The biscuit market in the UK is worth more than £2.3bn per year, with everyday treats offering the biggest growth in the sector,” said Spar brand director Susan Darbyshire.
“These new additions to the range bring us bang up to date with our competitors, and bring shoppers a delicious afternoon or lunchtime treat at affordable prices.”
