Fifteen Yeo Valley SKUs have been axed by Tesco as it continues a major dairy aisle revamp.
Tesco has delisted a total of 156 yoghurts, BSM, cheese and cream products since mid-May, and listed 78 new lines [Brand View w/e 12 June 2018]. The move is part of a shake-up linked to the latest stage of the supermarket’s Project Reset range rationalisation.
Yeo Valley, which has a strategic own label yoghurt partnership with Tesco, was among the worst affected brands by the cull. The 15 axed products represented more than a quarter of its branded Tesco listings, leaving it with 35.

Yeo Valley said: “We work closely with our retail customers to ensure our shoppers get the very best offer at the fixture. A strong assortment and excellent availability are central to this work. We are always in discussion with Tesco helping them to get the balance right.”
Other dairy brands to lose Tesco listings include Danone’s Actimel and Activia. Kerrygold was one of the first to fall victim to the reset, with Tesco ditching its Spreadable products last month. Benecol’s Olive Spread and three Country Life products have also been axed.
