Carrefour has announced it will be opening a second store in Singapore by the end of 2003.
The store, which will be over 6,500 sq m, will be located in the Plaza Singapura shopping centre and will be split across two levels.
Carrefour's MD in Singapore Luc Dayot said it will be investing more than $10m on fitting out the new store.
Carrefour opened its first hypermarket in Singapore in 1997.
