Maritime Food Group has won a new contract to supply own-label conventional garlic to Tesco.
The new deal won through a recent annual tender process will see Maritime supply all Tesco stores from 11 September.
G's Marketing previously held the contract after winning it for the first time in summer 2010. It continues to supply Tesco with organic garlic.
A spokesman for G's Marketing said: "G's have strong trading links with a number of garlic growers; however garlic is not a G's-grown crop."
