Kingsland Wines and Spirits has developed an organic own label wine range for Tesco.
Due to appear in stores nationwide from May, it consists of an Australian organic red and a white sealed with screwcaps and priced at £4.99.
Kingsland Wines MD Nigel Gardener said: “We expect the demand for organic wines to increase, and it is the availability of high quality organic wines, such as the Tesco Australian range, which will be the key to the development of this market.”
Kingsland, which was accredited by the Soil Association in November, is now looking at developing a branded organic range.
