Hall of fame leads stylsih assault on the snack market Snackhouse is the new name to be reckoned with in the snacks market. Bringing together Bensons Crisps, Country Harvest and K Snack Foods, the newly incorporated company has plans to make a big impact with an exciting range of new products. Director's Cut is its lead product in the adult snacking arena. A premium quality range, it comprises five snacks in smart, movie-themed packaging. There are three classics: Cheese Curls, Savoury Sticks and Onion Rings, plus Cheese & Ham Toasties and Chilli Twists, all in 50g grab bags (rsp 39p). The range is supported with cinematic point of sale display outers and consumer competitions for cinema tickets and a trip to Hollywood. Equally attention grabbing is Simpsons Snacks, based on characters from the Simpsons. No Problemo's, Couch Potato Chips, Eat My Shorts, Wingdings, Wedgies and Bart's Lava Rocks are all exciting flavours and shapes, available in individual packs and two assorted multipacks with figurines. Organic potato crisps have recently been launched under the name of Sydney Benson, founder of Bensons more than 50 years ago. Sydney Benson's Organic Potato Crisps come in Sea Salt and Salt & Black Pepper flavour. Meanwhile, Bensons standard crisps are still available, while Strikers 10 snacks will be back in the run up to the Euro 2000 cup. And finally, Captain Organic, a range of foil-packed fruit natural products for children's lunchboxes, has been introduced by the Country Harvest division. {{FOCUS SPECIALS }}
