An alternative to peanut butter and other spreads, this was seen as innovative by our expert judges, who praised it for “getting coconut into a mainstream product”, and our consumers, three-quarters of whom thought it brought something new and different to the category. Many testers enjoyed the flavour, smell and mouthfeel of the product (rsp: £4.29/250g), which was also seen as versatile. The packaging was described as attractive and noticeable.
