Halewood International has added a new flavour to its burgeoning Red Square range ­ Mexican Lime. The newcomer takes the range total to seven and features vodka, a twist of tequila and Mexican lime. Available in both 275ml and 70cl bottles, it joins original Red Square Reloaded, Wolfberry, Loganberry, Cranberry, Blueberry and Lemon. The brand is set to be supported by an £8m campaign until the end of the year including TV advertising from October. Marketing manager Richard Clark said: "We introduced a new look bottle and labels for Red Square at Easter and the move, which was designed to promote shelf standout, has paid off. "We have seen sales grow by 34% year on year. "Mexican Lime will be the first vodka-based lime-flavoured PPS on the market and buyers in both the on and off trades have reacted extremely favourably to it. "Research has shown there is a gap in the market for a drink of this type." {{DRINKS }}
