Chocolate maker Thorntons has appointed Martin Davey, currently chief executive of food manufacturer Cranswick, as a non-executive director.
Davey has been CEO at Cranswick since 1988 and was named 'Entrepreneur of the Year' in 2003 by the Financial Times for leading the group through a period of rapid expansion and diversification.
