The Association of Convenience Stores has chosen Camelot Group's channel marketing manager Hugh Arnott for the post of retaiI services manager to boost its services for independent retailers.
Arnott's previous positions include new business manager for Whitbread and merchandising controller for Martins newsagents. He was a consultant for the 1993 lottery bid and joined Camelot in 1994 as merchandising manager.
His key responsibilities with Camelot included ensuring strategic input for national account and independent sales teams.
