Water from icebergs in the Canadian Arctic is being used to produce what is claimed to be the world’s purest water.
The Canadian Iceberg Water Company harvests icebergs between May and July every year and allows them to melt naturally. The water, which contains no traces of any minerals or deposits, is available in 50ml and 1.75 litre PET bottles.
President and CEO David Sacks said it should retail at least double the price of standard bottle waters. Sacks added: “It’s for the person who wants to drink the best. It’s the Rolls-Royce of water.”
The iceberg water has been used to make Iceberg Vodka for the past nine years.
