Maxxium is hoping to boost sales of its Macallan whisky portfolio with a £1.5m marketing programme. The company is investing in trade marketing and a direct mail consumer campaign. It is also releasing a special edition product which it claims replicates the taste of a consignment of Macallan made in 1841.
