One of the UK's largest prepared and prepacked root vegetable suppliers has undergone an MBO.
Directors Mark Harrod and Chris Swift have acquired Fenmarc Produce from another company director, Stuart Edwards, and investors 3i Group. The company employs around 500 people at sites in Cambridgeshire and on the Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire border. Harrod said: "We all felt the time was right to simplify the company structure and recognise the importance of long-term stability."
