Nestlé is ordering a new year revamp for Munch Bunch yogurt - sales of which fell 17% in this year’s Top Products Survey (see last week).
It is introducing new products, improving recipes and backing the changes with a £2m TV campaign.
Two new products will debut under the banner - a new healthy yogurt drink by the name of Drinky+ and a “double layered” yogurt called Mega Double Up Fromage Frais. The first of these is a functional probiotic offering and will be available in strawberry flavour at an rsp of £1.79 for a pack of six 90g bottles. The latter, rsp: £1.39 for four 100g pots, is aimed at after school snacking.
The whole Munch Bunch range will boast new interactive packaging with games and jokes, while emphasis of the healthy content is aimed at parents.
Laura Shreeve, assistant brand manager, said: “The new products will provide an enjoyable eating experience while helping kids grow.”
