Puzzler Media is launching a new puzzle magazine called Chat Puzzles Select, on sale April 28, 2003. It is the sixth licensed title to be launched under the IPC/Chat banner. With a cover price of £1.70, Chat Puzzles Select is predicted to deliver £2m in sales per year.
Marketing includes puzzle pages in the Daily Star and Daily Express and money-off coupons. Distribution is by Marketforce.
n PlayStation launch
A new PlayStation2 magazine, PSNext, is being launched by Future Publishing, aimed at 20-somethings. The publisher says it will be the first magazine for the way PlayStation2 is evolving ­ encompassing this spring's launch of broadband gaming for PS2 and the EyeToy digital camera and motion controller. PSNext launches on May 29 with a cover price of £4. The first two issues will be bimonthly with the magazine set to go monthly in September. Distribution will be by Seymour.

n Digital frequency up
Total Digital Photography magazine is increasing its monthly frequency to 13 issues per year from the next issue. The next issue of Total Digital goes on sale April 24 with a cover price of £3.40. Distribution is by Comag.

n Kids' crafts
The 2003 Crafts for Children Summer special is a new title from Highbury House.
The 68-page issue will contain crafting projects as well as giveaways.
On sale July 4, the cover price is £3.15 and the distributor is Comag.
n Max birthday
Emap's leading automotive title, Max Power, is celebrating its 10th anniversary and the company is launching the Max Power London Show.
The show, on November 29-30, aims to attract 25,000 ABC 16-30 year old males. The title recently posted a 10% rise in circulation to a record high of 237,584.
