Black Cat Fireworks, one of the UK’s largest suppliers of pyrotechnics, has appointed Mark Tyldsley to the position of sales and marketing director.
He takes over from Dave Sayers and will oversee a team of 12 national and regional account managers, in addition to the newly enlarged marketing team.
Tyldsley has 14 years experience in the fmcg industry with Adidas, Heinz, RHM and the Co-op and said that he is looking forward to his latest challenge of maximising Black Cat’s firework sales.
He added: “The run-up to November 5 is going to be a busy time for us. I started my career as a senior buyer, so I feel that I can empathise with the challenges that our retail customers face.
“My main goal is to keep the Standard and Black Cat brands right at the forefront of all pyrotechnic sales in the UK and build from there.”
