Masterfoods has launched the latest tier of offerings under its giant Harry Potter licensing deal.
Rolling out to stores now, Honeydukes Best Chocolate Bar becomes a permanent addition to the existing line up.
It is a nougat and caramel filled thin finger covered with milk chocolate and coloured fizzy sugar pieces. Rsp for the 22.5g offering, which has the surprise bonus of a raspberry flavoured bluey-green caramel, is 20p, flashed on the label. Grocery multipacks containing five bars (rsp: £1, 112.5g) are available.
Also rolling out are two limited period only offerings Acid Pops, lollipops in four flavours which leave a mark on the tongue, and Fizzing Whizzbees which are chewy sweets covered in a sugar shell. The respective 13g and 45g offerings retail for 20p and 39p.
Masterfoods trade relations manager Sam McElligott said the company was expecting great things from the newcomers as they were being launched in time for the second film Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, at cinemas nationwide from November 15.
