Robert Wiseman has pledged to reduce waste food and packaging.
The processor is the first company based in Scotland to sign the Courtauld Commitment, an agreement between government body Wrap and UK grocery organisations to cut packaging and food waste.
The announcement came as Wiseman announced volume growth of 6.3% for the second half to date, compared with 2.6% for the first half. The growth had partly been thanks to additional Co-op business secured last October, the company said.
