Chilean winery Viña La Rosa will use the 2006 London International Wine & Spirits Fair as a launch platform for its new La Palma Reserve wine range.

The premium range, which includes a Chardonnay, a Cabernet Sauvignon and a Merlot from the 2005 vintage, is set to retail at £5.49 to £5.99. Viña La Rosa will also be showing 2005 vintage releases from its La Capitana and Don Reca ranges.

The producer has also launched new packaging for its entry-level La Palma range, priced at £4.99 each. La Palma labels will keep the palm tree design but the company will add different colours for individual products and make them easier to read.

Raul Katz, commercial manager for Viña La Rosa, said: "The reason for the change is to offer our customers around the world one global image, making it easier for them to recognise our wines."
