Glaswegian entrepreneur Carlo Citti is hoping a new vodka and pomegranate juice drink will achieve success in the ailing RTD category.
He is launching Vodkapom, a 4% abv sparkling vodka and pomegranate juice mix, this autumn.
The drink was launched exclusively into Scottish bars and clubs but Citti has confirmed plans to roll out the drink to the off-trade as soon as the end of the month.
"The popularity of pomegranate has soared in recent years," said Citti. "Combined with Scotland's most popular spirit, vodka, I am sure this will be a hit with
consumers."
