An educational wine set from the Bordeaux region of France is to be launched into the off-trade to encourage consumers to learn about wine from home.
The Joy of Wine wooden gift box set, to be launched at the London International Wine & Spirits Fair this month, consists of a wine DVD plus four half-bottles of wine with a set of eight aroma crystals to help learn about the wine’s character.
The DVD gives useful tips and facts about Bordeaux wines presented by leading wine experts. “It’s great because it demystifies the world of wine in a fun and relaxed way,” says DJ Jono Coleman, presenter of the DVD.
