The consumer
I was really excited when the Aero Double Bubble arrived as the packaging was really nice and eye-catching - it is the kind of product I would nag my mum and dad to buy when doing the food shop. I also liked that the ice cream was green on the bottom and chocolate-coloured on the top.

I was not that keen on the mint taste of the ice cream, but I loved the chocolate part. Aero Double Bubble would not be my first choice of ice cream, but I would happily eat it again if offered. Three stars (out of five)

The retailer
This is a good product that creates interest for the customer with its lively packaging and appearance. It has a strong standout on shelf and you get a real feeling for what the product is about from the exciting blend of colours and images used.

The pleasant mint flavour combines well with the chocolate, giving the ice cream a refreshing taste ideal for a warm summer's afternoon. Four stars

The Grocer
Aero Double Bubble is a good example of genuine innovation hitting the ice cream sticks fixture, rather than the endless flavour extensions of existing brands. The product, which brings the confectionery brand to the frozen aisle for the first time, comes in bright packaging that clearly reflects what is inside.

The ice cream has a creamy texture rather than 'airy' and is nice if you like mint and chocolate. It is marketed as a product with mass-market family appeal, but I would question its popularity with children as many are not that keen on mint. Three stars
