Kale: The health junkie’s go-to veg just got more interesting (and arguably more virtuous). Visionary Foods Inspiral has air dried it and coated it with spicy wasabi and wheatgrass crunchy cashew nut sauce (€3.30/£2.52).

Loblaws World of Flavours sub-range travels the globe through tasty flavour combinations. Harissa Hummus Flavoured Ripple Potato Chips (CAD$1.67/88p) are a tasty take on the North African creamy houmous spiced with caraway, chili, coriander, cumin and spearmint.
‘You’ll never go back to boring chips,’ boasts Gringo Jack’s of its Flaky Tortilla Chips. In case the flakiness isn’t different enough, the brand has gone one step further to release a sweet Cinnamon & Sugar variant ($1.50/£1.05).
Eat Real aims to get consumers to do just that, with snacks made from natural ingredients and ‘no nasties’. It’s Quinoa Chips with Sour Cream & Chives (€2.69/£2.05) are made from the super grain and are suitable for vegans.
Combining some of this year’s biggest snacking trends, Epic Hunt has launched its Honest Harvest Wholesome Trail Mix ($4.99/£3.49). The mix combines beef jerky, roasted almonds, Brazil nuts, pecans and pistachios.
