Sorry kids, BuzzBar’s Citrus Berry Drop is for adults. For starters, it’s got real booze in it. This alcohol infused product comprises raspberry lemon drop sorbet with lemon vodka on a stick ($5.49/£3.68).
Don’t worry; it’s not actually made of spaghetti! This playful dish (€1.59/ £1.15) is famous on the continent, featuring vanilla ice cream with a strawberry sauce and white chocolate flake decoration to look like a savoury pasta dish.
Are the kids left unimpressed by regular ice lollies? Nestlé has added some bang to its range thanks to these flavoured ice pops with a popping candy core (CAD 4.49/£2.46).
Peach and jalapeno ice cream might sound crazy to some, but Sia Glass doesn’t seem to think so. It’s launched a sweet and spicy dessert perfect for those looking for a kick from their ice cream. It retails in a 500ml tub at SEK 15.90/£1.40.
Kit Kats come in weird and wonderful flavours across the globe, from roasted sweet potato to ginger ale. This applies to the brand’s ice cream offerings as well, having launched a green tea ice cream cone (THB 60.00/£1.28 for 2 x 80g cones).
Hate devouring an ice lolly only to be left with struggling to find a bin for the stick? U! Confronta & Risparmia has solved this dilemma by using an edible liquorice stick. The product retails in a 450g pack containing six lollies for €1.89/£1.36.
Lotte Coolish has launched a vanilla ice cream drink (140 YEN/£0.79 for a 140ml pack), for those who prefer to slurp their ice cream out of a tube. It can be eaten as a snack or on the go.
Yoghurt made healthier, according to manufacturer Monsieur Singh. This Frozen Pineapple Lassi ($6.99/£4.69) is described as a successful arranged marriage of probiotic yoghurt, juicy pineapple and nourishing bananas. It contains rejuvenating holy basil and cinnamon.
Described as a classic American treat, Chocolate Malt Frozen Custard ($3.89/£2.61) is extra thick and creamy. It’s made with fresh milk and contains no artificial flavours, according to Nestlé Dreyer.
Royale’s artisan sorbet has a bittersweet tamarind flavour, and contains no artificial preservatives of artificial colours. It may be a premium product but the exchange rate works wonders for it – a 454ml pack retails at MXN 21.55 (£0.94).
