The tyranny of choice is a serious problem in the wine category. Of all the bottles out there, how are we supposed to remember which ones were nice? Especially after, you know, having drunk some wine.
Hardys is on the case, reminding us its vino is constant and true by showing it accompanying a couple of couples. Two women work late with a takeaway in what could be a 1980s office – before we see them celebrating something in the present day, in a rather swankier location. We also see a glam couple getting engaged, then celebrating their anniversary. The wine is ever-present, of course.
A pedant (ahem) might suggest evolving label designs could make a nonsense of the ‘same bottle in both scenes’ concept – but clever camerawork and a punchy ‘Then. Now. Always: Certainty’ kicker hammers home the message regardless.
