Its sour variant is now the second most popular behind fruit, while in the total market, the sour sub-section is growing at 28% value and bucking the volume trend (+4%) [NIQ MAT to 13 April 2024]. Its oversized Skittles also tap into trends around novel textures and formats, driving interest and impulse sales (with 40% of shoppers incremental to the category). Our judges praised the ”strong product with a clear mission to drive revenue through innovation”.
