What was your first job? My first job was working in a care home serving food after school.
What’s been your worst job interview? My worst job interview was probably one I hosted for a role at Boundless. We got half way through with one person before they told me they were actually allergic to nuts…
What was the first music single you bought? True Blue by Madonna.
How do you describe your job to your mates? Mental.
What is the most rewarding part of your job? The most rewarding part is to see the team genuinely happy to work at Boundless.
What is the least rewarding part? I haven’t had a day off in three years!
What is your motto in life? F**k it, we’ll find a way.
If you were allowed one dream perk, what would it be? Never having to queue again, like ever.
Do you have any phobias? The latest trend of household objects made into cake. A pair of crocs – cake. A fry-up – cake. Make it stop!
If you could change one thing in grocery, what would it be? The ability for small brands to market their products as easily as the larger corporations do.
What luxury would you have on a desert island? A boat: happy to be on a desert island, as long as I can leave when I want to!
What animal reflects your personality? An aardvark. Nocturnal, surprisingly fast and always on the hunt.
What’s your favourite film and why? Mildred Pierce. It’s about a businesswoman who overcomes everything to get to the top.
What has been the most embarrassing moment in your life? I was 17 and fell asleep at my desk at work after a night out. My boss came and found me, and I panicked and pretended to faint. Wasn’t sure how long fainting was supposed to last, so just lay there for 10 minutes, by which time nobody was buying it.
What would your death row meal be? As I’m gluten-intolerant and dairy doesn’t like me, I’m going all out on this one. My last meal ever would have to be an entire large loaf of freshly baked sourdough with warm salty butter, a glass of rosé, six servings of mushroom lasagne followed by sticky toffee pudding and clotted cream.
