What was your first job? I worked in hospitals during my university holidays and during my gap year I worked as a sales assistant at Ted Baker.
What’s been your worst job interview? I interviewed at Great Ormond Street Hospital when I was on the path to a career in neuropsychology, and it all went terribly wrong. There were six people interviewing me, and I totally froze!
What was the first music single you bought? Ooh Aah Just A Little Bit by Gina G.
How do you describe your job to your mates? Best job in the world! It’s like having 10 jobs in one.
What is the most rewarding part of your job? To have started the company because of my own personal needs and to now know our products benefit so many thousands of people a week is everything.
What is the least rewarding part? The drafting of legal agreements. They are so time-consuming and costly.
What is your motto in life? Make a positive difference every day to someone else’s life.
If you were allowed one dream perk, what would it be? Exercise classes in the day. It would help me reset and keep me feeling energised.
Do you have any phobias? The Tube! Being so underground and trapped has always led to bad panic attacks.
If you could change one thing in grocery, what would it be? That grocery buyers don’t change all the time! We invest so much into our relationship with buyers and then they just move on.
What luxury would you have on a desert island? Air conditioning.
What animal most reflects your personality? A meerkat. They have great family values, are sharp, social and have round moon faces just like mine.
What’s your favourite film? Notting Hill. It never gets boring, and always makes you feel warm and fuzzy inside!
What has been the most embarrassing moment in your life? Accidentally kissing a work colleague on the lips during an awkward hug.
Which celebrity would you most like to work with and why? Ellen Degeneres. She is a bold and brave woman who seems to take life with a pinch of salt.
What would your death row meal be? Pad Thai or avocado pesto pasta.
