The consumer
I found it very pleasant to drink. It was very light, dry and aromatic with a scent of apples and pears. The dryness perfectly complemented the garlicky antipasti that I ate with it. It would also be good for an afternoon Christmas drinks party as its lightness and low alcohol level make for easy drinking without getting drunk. I would choose this over a cheap Champagne. The retailer
The skittle-shaped bottle feels nice to hold and the drink delivers what it promises on the label it is citrusy, fresh and palatable, a good everyday prosecco. It does however lack a little complexity and the mousse, although good on the palate, disappears quickly in the glass. This drink should appeal to customers who find Champagne too dry yet it is labelled and classified 'extra dry', which is confusing for consumers. I would prefer to have prosecco on shelf classified as Brut to make it more consumer-friendly. Four stars

The Grocer
This prosecco is delightful. Really dry and crisp, with none of the sweetness or acidic tang you can get with some proseccos. It is very refreshing and would work well with food or on its own. It is definitely fruity, although I wouldn't have said it tasted of lemons, as it says on the bottle. At 11% abv it would be perfect for a lunchtime celebration or as an aperitif. It also looks very sophisticated, with a classic label design, meaning I would have no hesitation about presenting it to friends. Four stars
