Aldi has added a new three-fish roast to its Christmas range, featuring layers of smoked white fish, cod and salmon with a creamy cheese and chive sauce. The 1kg line, which goes on sale on 3 December, serves four.
The discounter already offers a three-bird roast featuring turkey, chicken and a duck joint wrapped round sage & onion stuffing. It will also add an 850g whole stuffed pheasant this Christmas, developed with celebrity chef Phil Vickery, who signed as the face of Aldi last year.
“We are trying to help reclaim Christmas for the consumer with a number of dishes that are excellent quality, at a great price and are easy to cook with no waste or fuss,” said Vickery.
The chef has also put together recipes that can be cooked in 150 minutes. They will be made available on his podcast on Aldi’s website as part of the supermarket’s Have A Price-less Christmas with Aldi campaign.
