A new company set up by two former GlaxoSmithKline marketing chiefs is launching what it claims is the UK’s first savoury cereal bar.
NutrInnovator, founded by former GSK marketers Fiona Vigar and Stephen Moon at the start of the year, has come up with a four-strong range of bars under the Altú banner.
The first two of these are savoury offerings - Sun Dried Tomato, Olive & Parmesan and Peanut, Cashew & Thai Sweet Chilli flavours.
Two sweet varieties - Cranberry & Boysenberry and Peach, Apricot & Almond -
complete the launch offering which has already found homes in independent health stores.
Vigar, who is marketing director at NutrInnovator, said the 79p-89p, 40g bars were packed with healthy ingredients covering five key food groups.
