Heinz is adding Angry Birds and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles lines to its pasta shapes range.
Rolling out this month into Asda, and other retailers from January, the launch is the first refresh for the licensed range since the introduction of Moshi Monsters in 2012. Heinz will continue to sell a range of pasta featuring other characters, including Moshi Monsters.
Angry Birds was the most downloaded app of all time, with 2.5 billion downloads, said Heinz brand manager Laure Gentil. “We are delighted to announce these partnerships. It shows how Heinz is connecting with consumers by linking popular kids’ culture with our products.”
