Asda in Stowmarket provided the cheapest of this week's three full baskets at £36.30.
Sainsbury in Stirling gave Asda a run for its money with eight items on offer for a basket price of £37.08. A checkout error led to potatoes being charged at £1.69/kg instead of 99p but customer services rectified the error.
Waitrose in Bristol provided the third full basket at £40.64 and our shoppers praised the store for the quality of its fresh produce and for providing a "pleasant shopping experience".
Asda at Hollingbury in Brighton was described as "a mess", with stacking trolleys and packaging waste in many of the aisles. Staff seemed too busy to offer any real advice and just pointed in the general direction of our shopper's product inquiries.
