Cider and vinegar maker Aspall is hoping to improve consumer knowledge of speciality vinegars through a new in-store campaign.
It plans to educate shoppers about the category next year with shelf-edge labels featuring variety descriptors, recipe cards and neck labels on bottles.
Aspall, which claims to produce more than half the UK’s speciality vinegar, relaunched its 11-strong vinegar range in January.
The company is launching an apple and cranberry balsamic vinegar into Waitrose (rsp: £2.29/250ml) in the run-up to Christmas.
