Neil Sanderson has been appointed managing director of Hull-based Tryton Foods, which owns the Aunt Bessie's frozen food brand. He replaces Brian Young, who left the business last October.
Sanderson, 35, has more than 10 years' experience in the food industry. He was previously MD of Dublin-based W&R Jacobs (Irish Biscuits) part of Groupe Danone for three years.
Before that he was acting sales director for Jacobs Bakery in the UK after being promoted from general sales manager.
He said he would be continuing Tryton Foods' growth in several ways, including new product development after the opening of its latest factory in Hull.
