Aunt Bessie’s is taking its Yorkshire puddings into the chilled aisle.

Made to the same recipe as their frozen stablemates, the puds will be available exclusively from Asda from next week (rsp: £1.79 for six compared with £1.75 for the frozen equivalent).

The launch was a “natural development” for the brand, said senior brand manager Claire Glen. “People expect to be able to find Aunt Bessie’s in frozen and chilled formats,” she added.
