GlaxoSmithKline is to hit the airwaves again as part of a £4.1m campaign for its cold and flu remedy Beechams.
A 30-second TV commercial for the brand, titled I'm Still Standing', gets a second season following a successful debut last year.
Airing from Monday (December 3), it features the 1980s hit song by Elton John of the same name, and shows people of all ages and from all walks of life standing up to colds and flu with the help of Beechams. The ad, backed by a new 10-second version to build awareness, will be on air until the end of January, said GSK, and will be shown in all ITV regions as well as on Channels 4 and 5 and selected satellite stations.
The Stand Up' theme has also been extended to a national six-sheet poster campaign which features a new creative building on the TV theme. The posters will be seen at bus shelters, in shopping centres and at other key locations from December 17 for four weeks the height of the cold and flu season, said the company.
