A whiskey has been produced by the recently formed Belfast Distillery Company to mark the 100th anniversary of the launch of the Titanic.
The 40% abv Titanic Irish Whiskey is matured in American bourbon casks and comes in five-year and 10-year vintages (rsp: £20-25/70cl). The distillery claims it is the first new Irish whiskey brand to emanate from Belfast in almost a century.
The business is seeking retail listings in the UK and is also in talks with a US distributor, said distillery co-founder Derek Hardy.
