Booths Supermarkets is planning a 20,000 sq ft supermarket, restaurant and exhibition gallery near Blackpool.
The independent retailer, ranked third in The Grocer Top 50, has won permission for the development in Lytham St Anne’s. Director Graham Booth said: “Architecturally the new store will be of very high quality and it will carry our full range of products.”
The development will include a restaurant, public gallery and 180 parking spaces and employ 150. The store should be open by summer 2006.
