Britvic has given its GB leadership team a shake-up.
The soft drinks maker has promoted at-home commercial director Ben Parker to the new role of GB commercial director for retail, covering grocery and convenience.
Britvic had gone “from strength to strength” in retail under Parker in his former role, said Britvic GB MD Paul Graham, at “a time when the Covid pandemic has increased challenges and a great deal of problem solving and quick-thinking has been required”.
Parker said he looked forward to “bringing my experience and learnings to convenience”.
“The channel is rapidly evolving and brings a wealth of opportunity for us,” he said.
Meanwhile Dino Labbate, who joined as account director in 2018 and has since headed up Britvic’s Tesco and Booker relationship, has moved into his first leadership role as GB director for hospitality.
Graham added he had “no doubt Dino will lead the channel with the skill and acumen he is known for, using the knowledge from his previous roles to create growth for Britvic and our hospitality partners alike”.
”From unlocking opportunity for our latest dispense innovations, to expanding brands such as Plenish and Aqua Libra within the channel, Dino will be focused on maintaining our soft drinks leadership and expanding our footprint.”
Labbate said: “Soft drinks are pivotal to the future of pubs, bars, restaurants, and the wider hospitality sector. I look forward to working closely with our existing strategic partners, in addition to creating new opportunities to excite consumers, and championing Britvic as a beacon for soft drinks innovation and hospitality excellence.”
