Burts Chips is bringing back its Firecracker Lobster crisps - but in a new ridge-cut format.

The flavour, which was launched five years ago but discontinued in 2008, is being reintroduced in response to consumer demand and will come in a “wave-cut” format, the first time Burts has changed the shape and texture of its branded potato crisps.

Interest in ridge-cut crisps has grown as brands such as Walkers and Tyrrells have entered the market.
