Coca-Cola has named Daniel Palumbo as its new chief marketing officer of the soft drinks giant Stateside.
The top marketing job had been open since March, when Stephen Jones resigned.
Palumbo will be responsible for overseeing marketing and brand building at Coke and report to Steve Heyer, Coke's president and chief operating officer.
Palumbo worked for Procter & Gamble before joining Kodak, where he became president of Kodak's consumer imaging products and services in September 2000.
Palumbo resigned from Eastman Kodak last week “to pursue other interests”.
