Upmarket retailer Cook has gone even posher with a gourmet ready meal range For Special Nights In.
Cook said the six-strong range (rsp: £6.99 to £12.99 for a two-portion meal) would let customers entertain at home without spending hours cooking.
It includes Haunch of Venison with Crushed Celeriac; Roasted Confit of Duck with a Juniper Berry Sauce; and Slow-cooked Lamb with Spinach & Shallots.
The packaging has quirky black and white graphics featuring a jockey riding a sheep and a fish sitting on a telephone.
