Corky's Vodka Liqueur is continuing its march on the speciality drinks sector in the off-trade by adding a Mint Cream addition to its range. The new flavour follows the launch of Strawberries and Cream to the cream range in February, which also includes Corky's White Chocolate. "We have developed Corky's mint cream on the back of the success in the off-trade of the other two," said Jenny Allaway, head of retail at Global Brands. "It gives us a real point of difference and complements the existing range perfectly." Initially the liqueur will be exclusively available to Morrisons on promotion at £5.99, but it will be rolled out if it is as successful as the others, said the company. Corky's was originally conceived as a shooter brand but was repositioned as a vodka liqueur last year. "We talked to retailers, such as Morrisons, and found they didn't want a shooter-based offering, so we are targeting speciality drinks," said Allaway.
