Martin Drane, sales director, impulse, at Cadbury Trebor Bassett, has moved to become MD of Monkhill Confectionery - a separate division within the business.
The company supplies own label confectionery and popcorn to major retail customers as well as branded products such as Butterkist, Jamesons, Pascall and Barratt.
Drane joined Cadbury in 1982 and has wide experience within the commercial and operations areas in the UK and overseas. His overseas experience includes regional sales roles in Australia and the Middle East, where he was instrumental in opening up new markets in the Pacific Rim. Returning to the UK, Drane held posts including account director for grocery.
Graham Mosey, who was MD of Monkhill, is moving to become MD of Cadbury Ireland. The appointments of Mosey and Drane take effect immmediately.
CTB said it was in the process of choosing a replacement for Drane.
