Northern Ireland's Dunbia has acquired Stevenson's pork processing business.
Dunbia claims the move will save 100 jobs and create a further 70 at the Cullybackey facility.Stevenson had previously said the site would have to close due to rising costs.
The undisclosed "multi-million pound" acquisition helped ensure a route to market for Northern Irish producers, Dunbia added.
Dunbia also announced this week it had won a contract to supply a full range of fresh pork products to British and Northern Irish Sainsbury's stores.
