Bloom London Dry Gin is launching its first ready-to-serve variant, produced in partnership with upmarket soft drinks supplier Fentimans.
The Fentimans & Bloom Gin & Tonic, which comes in a 275ml serving and has a £3.99 price tag, is rolling out now to Sainsbury’s stores across the UK. Described as the “first premium cocktail” in the in the RTS category, the 6.5% abv drink comes in the distinctive Fentimans curved glass bottle.
Bloom international brands development manager Frederik Kampman said that while both the spirits and soft drinks markets had seen growth in premium products, consumers were looking for ways to recreate the “perfect serve’ at home”.
“So far there has not been an off-trade proposition that provides a premium, convenience gin and tonic,” he added. “The RTS category represents an opportunity for Bloom to engage with a new breed of discerning drinkers who appreciate quality and a more refined gin drinking experience.”
